Building capacity to support the realisation of children’s rights

We work with you
to strengthen your confidence, knowledge and skills to promote, protect and fulfil children’s human rights.

At Children’s Parliament, one of our priorities is to work with individuals, organisations and public bodies to build their capacity to support the realisation of children’s rights.

Through this eLearning Hub, we provide a range of learning materials, resources and tools to help you develop relevant skills and knowledge. This will enable you to confidently promote, protect and fulfil children’s human rights.

What’s in our eLearning Hub?

In our eLearning Hub, you can find courses covering different aspects of children’s rights, including introductory courses on children’s rights and specific courses on thematic areas such as Education, Mental Health and Early Years. Each course is made up of bitesize modules that guide you through the course in a useful order.

These modules consist of reading materials and videos, as well as interactive elements like quizzes and self-reflective exercises. The content was developed using Children’s Parliament’s long history of rights based practice with children. Many of these materials were co-produced with Members of Children’s Parliament and our project partners.

The e-learning Hub is organised into simple, easy to access Learning Pathways. To start with, all learners will be assigned a foundation pathway which covers the basic understanding and concept of children’s human rights. You may also be allocated a certain pathway based on what you told us during the registration process. For example, the Early Years pathway will be allocated to learners from the early years sector.
