Children’s Parliament’s Dignity in School project (2022-25) worked with partners to build the capacity of schools to take a children’s human rights approach and put the UNCRC into practice. By adopting a rights approach, schools can help to make rights real for children by ensuring that their dignity is upheld.

Through the project, we partnered with primary school clusters in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Clackmannanshire and Dundee.

Working with Dignity in School has been transformative; we have moved on our rights respecting journey in a proactive way, developing new processes, spaces and training for all council staff
