From today, Children’s Parliament will stop posting on X (formerly known as Twitter). We no longer believe that X is a social media platform that aligns with our values.
After engagement with stakeholders and staff we found that maintaining meaningful engagement on X has become increasingly challenging.
We have inspired a greater awareness and understanding of the power of children’s human rights on the platform for over a decade and will continue to use our other social media platforms going forwards to support children to influence national legislation, policy and practice and to systematically drive implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Our X account will remain live as an archive, preserving access to historical content. We are excited to expand our presence on BlueSky and our other forums and look forward to connecting with you on these.
