On 18th October 2023, the Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, has written to all children in Scotland to provide them with an update on the Government’s progress to give legal protection for children’s rights through the incorporation of the UNCRC into Scots law.
The UNCRC Bill is an important step on Scotland’s children’s human rights journey.
