This is a series of eLearning modules aimed at giving adults who work in the A.I, digital, and data space an introduction to children’s human rights and how to best ensure that their work in developing, deploying or making decisions around A.I technologies can respect and protect children’s rights.
With the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child’s incorporation into domestic law in Scotland, this resource can help AI professionals maintain a competitive edge while ensuring that new technologies support children’s safety and wellbeing.

Module 1:
In this module you will increase your understanding of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and learn about UNCRC incorporation in Scotland.
Module 2:
Increase your understanding of the importance of the concept of human dignity & how to take to a children’s rights approach.
Module 3:
Learn about how children’s rights link to A.I, how AI affects children and what children think and feel about A.I.
Module 4:
Explore Members of Children’s Parliament’s calls to action on fairness and bias and on safety and security, and children’s hopes for A.I and their rights.
Module 5:
Learn about what children think and feel about the use of A.I in education, and learning about A.I.
This resource contains 5 x eLearning modules exploring the importance of children’s human rights in A.I. Each section can be accessed by selecting a module below, completing it, and progressing to the next one.
