Project Worker – Dignity in School

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Project Worker for our Dignity in School programme.  Passionate about children, an excellent communicator, and highly organised, the post holder will contribute to our work to support implementation of the UNCRC and deliver human rights for children.

Cathy is co-founder and Co-Director of Children’s Parliament. Cathy trained at Moray House in Community Education (Youth & Community). While Cathy has turned her hand to organisational development, change management, training and fundraising, it is seeing the impact a children’s human rights-based approach has on outcomes for children, that has been Cathy’s driving passion for the past 20 years. In 2017, Cathy received an OBE for services to children’s rights and wellbeing.
Colin is co-founder and Co-Director of Children’s Parliament. He trained as a teacher and community worker. Most of Colin’s career has been in 3rd sector organisations. He has a long-standing interest in children’s human rights, health and wellbeing. His doctoral study explored how children and young people with learning disabilities learn about relationships and sexual health. Colin is also a partner in social research consultancy, TASC (Scotland).
