#UndertheSameSky16

We’re counting down the days here at Children’s Parliament because the StreetsAhead Tranent project is about to take a trip to the United Nations in Geneva.

StreetsAhead is the Scottish contribution to Under the Same Sky, an international constellation of projects exploring children’s rights and the environment. The other five projects come from Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Australia and Brazil. These projects will be featured at the UNCRC Day of General Discussion on Friday, 23rd September.  During the day the StreetsAhead Tranent participants will be able to share their mural with delegates from all over the world, including members of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Friday will also see the worldwide launch of the Under the Same Sky film – we will share the link with you when it’s live.

You can follow our journey through this blog or on Twitter @creative_voices and the wider conversation#DGD16. Send the children courage and good wishes with #UndertheSameSky16.
