Children’s Hearings Reform

The Scottish Government has changed parts of the law to do with Children’s Hearings in Scotland. The Children’s Parliament consulted with children with experience of the system to inform these changes. Children discussed information provision, their understanding of the process, the experience of waiting rooms and Hearings rooms as well as their views on the people and feelings which are part of their experience of the Hearings system.
